Thank you for choosing pesto-store.com! Below you’ll find the terms and conditions that apply to our shipping process.

Order Processing Time

All orders are processed and dispatched within 2–5 business days. Please note that we do not ship or deliver on weekends or public holidays.

During peak periods, processing times may be slightly extended. We appreciate your patience and recommend allowing extra time for delivery. In case of any significant delay, we will notify you promptly via email or phone.

Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

We offer free shipping to the USA, UK and Europe.

Shipping fees to other regions will be calculated and shown at checkout.

Please note that delivery times may vary and occasional delays can occur due to logistics circumstances beyond our control.

Shipping Restrictions

We do not ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO/DPO addresses, with the exception of those located in the USA.

Shipment Confirmation & Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your tracking number(s) so you can monitor the progress of your delivery.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

pesto-store.com is not liable for any customs duties, taxes, or other charges that may be applied to your order upon arrival in the destination country.

These costs are the customer’s responsibility, including customs clearance procedures, if required.

You can find below the list of customs limits and tax rules for some popular destinations as of May 2025. 

We use the HS code 9403609000 for our products, which corresponds to “Other wooden furniture,” pet houses made from birch plywood are generally classified under this category. 

🇺🇸 United States

• Customs threshold: items valued under $800 could be imported duty-free under the “de minimis” rule. If necessary, we divide the order so that the value does not exceed the duty-free limit 

🇦🇺 Australia

• Customs threshold: Items valued under AUD 1,000 are exempt from import duties. If necessary, we divide the order so that the value does not exceed the duty-free limit

🇦🇪 United Arab Emirates (UAE)

• Customs threshold: Goods valued under AED 300 are exempt from import duties.

• Duty rate: Shipments above this limit are taxed at 5% of the total value (including shipping and insurance).

🇬🇧 United Kingdom

• Customs threshold: Items valued under £135 are exempt from import duties, but VAT applies to all orders, except gifts under £39. (Contact us if a certain amount invoice is required)

🇮🇪 Ireland

• Customs threshold: Goods valued up to €150 are exempt from customs duties.(Contact us if a certain amount invoice is required).

• VAT: Applies to all imports regardless of value.

🇪🇺 European Union (general)

• Customs threshold: Items valued under €150 are exempt from customs duties.(Contact us if a certain amount invoice is required).

• VAT: As of July 1, 2021, VAT applies to all imports, regardless of value.

To avoid unexpected charges, we recommend checking the latest rates on your country’s official customs website or other reliable sources. 

Damages

Pesto-store.com cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged during transit. However, all our shipments are insured to ensure you receive either a replacement or a full refund if needed.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us immediately so we can assist with the resolution process.

Important: In case of damage do not assemble or alter the item before we provide instructions regarding the next steps. Please retain all original packaging and the damaged product, as they may be required for insurance claims.
